Conetinib is used with Mektovi to treat certain types of melanoma (a skin cancer) that have spread to other parts of the body or cannot be removed surgically. Conetinib belongs to a class of drugs called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the effects of an abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to reproduce. This helps stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.
